We got our first peek at the Adidas Deerupt sneaker, back in August, last year. But this past March they finally got released. The new lifestyle runner takes cues from the NMD_R1 and Tennis Hu designs, featuring a streamlined low-top silhouette that’s covered from ankle to midsole in a mesh net overlay. As mentioned before, they’ve been out for a couple of weeks now but as of recently the Deerupt sneaker added some new colorways to their line up. For these two new colour additions Adidas went for a bolder approach, fitting this Spring season and it’s latest trends.
Blue Bird and Aero Pink is what they’re called! “Bluebird” has a blue upper and red midsole with contrast white mesh overlay. As for “Aero Pink”, it’s a bit more modest with a light pink upper and soft pink midsole. This gives the combination of the pink colours with white mesh overlay more of a monochromatic look, which I love! That definitely makes Aero Pink my favourite colorway of the whole Deerupt line.
Will I get them? Probably so, since they only retail for about €100,- and besides I want to put them to the true test and see if they’re worth the hype. They’re definitely not as out there as my all time favourite FILA Disruptors but they do have a classic vibe to them so I guess it’s worth a try. The adidas Originals Deerupt in “Bluebird” and “Aero Pink” will release on April 12 at adidas’s web store and select Three Stripes retailers worldwide. What do you guys think of the Adidas’ Deerupt new colorways? Will you get them? Or would you like me to review them first? If so, let me know in the comment section and I’ll have a review up for you guys in no time! 😉
