I am lucky enough to work a job where I can create content for many different high end brands on a daily and just when I thought I knew it all, I get introduced to this new up and coming designer doing the damn thang ok! The following brand I want to talk about today is no different even though not quite up and coming but more so new to me. As you saw by the title I want to lay the spotlight on Baum und Pferdgarten which has been around since 1999. I know right! Where have I been?!

Anyway allow me to tell you more. Like I said before Baum und Pferdgarten was established in 1999 by Rikke Baumgarten and Helle Hestehave in Copenhagen. They created the brand name as an interplay between their surnames, and it perfectly reflects the dualistic playfulness that is echoed in their design. The two creative directors implement clashing contrasts, strong colours and memorable prints in every collection. It has become their deign DNA. If you take their latest Fall 2018 collection entitled Blast of Blooms for example. This is the show that I live streamed, it put cupids arrow straight through my heart and I officially became goo goo for Baum. Not because their collection was so creatively innovative and out of this world. I quite found that it catered to a lot of today’s trends. Accurate! Since they translated it’s title as a collection dedicated to ”the blooming youth of today.” However they have a way of putting their own spin to it, making it appealing but still unique. Wearing this Fall 2018 collection would almost make me feel like I fit in, following trends, while still setting myself apart. Kind of odd, but I dig it.

Hey! I can’t knock Baum for their hustle cause this collection is a straight gold mine! And might I add that their pieces look even more stunning in person. Shop your own Baum un Pferdgarten pieces by checking out their website
